Lucid PsychiatryEffective: January 2025

Lucid Psychiatry provides mental health services through telehealth, allowing patients to receive care remotely using secure video technology.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth involves the use of electronic communication, such as video conferencing, to provide healthcare services remotely.

Benefits of telehealth

  • Convenience and accessibility
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Access to care within Florida and Washington
  • Comfort and privacy of your own environment

Potential risks

  • Technical issues may occur
  • Telehealth may not be appropriate for all conditions or emergencies
  • Certain physical assessments may be limited

Privacy and confidentiality

Lucid Psychiatry uses secure platforms for telehealth services. Patients are responsible for being in a private and secure location during sessions.

Patient responsibilities

By participating in telehealth, patients agree to:

  • Ensure a reliable internet connection
  • Join from a safe and private environment
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Engage actively in care

Emergencies

Telehealth is not appropriate for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Consent to telehealth

By scheduling and participating in a telehealth appointment with Lucid Psychiatry, you acknowledge that you understand the benefits and risks of telehealth and consent to receive care through telehealth services.
